Respect. Accountability. Resilience.
Respect. Accountability. Resilience.
ReRoute Australia was developed to counter the growing spread of violence-extremist messaging and exploitation by equipping vulnerable individuals with the tools, relationships, and opportunities needed to build meaningful, connected, and purposeful lives.
Our mission is to intervene early—before hate takes hold—by meeting people where they are: in schools, universities, job services, sporting clubs, and community settings. We guide participants away from harmful ideologies and toward a positive sense of self and belonging through:
ReRoute believes in a strengths-based approach that avoids shame and instead fosters empowerment, resilience, accountability, and hope for a better future.
R3 is a school-based program for boys in Years 9–12 that fosters healthy masculinity, violence prevention, and resilience against gang influence. Through open, real-life conversations and practical skill-building, students learn to manage anger, take responsibility for their actions, and step up as positive leaders. The program also equips young men to critically assess online content, challenge extremist narratives, and make safe, informed digital choices. R3 creates a safe space for honest discussions about respect, belonging, and the true meaning of strength.
This two-hour session equips parents and carers with the tools to identify early warning signs of extremist engagement. Delivered by experienced practitioners, it explores the habits, interests, language, and behaviours that may signal vulnerability to radicalisation. It also addresses how extremist content spreads online, giving parents strategies to guide their children through digital spaces safely and critically. Parents gain evidence-based approaches to respond with confidence and care, supported by real Australian case examples showing how extremism can take hold – and how timely intervention can change a young person’s path.
This two-hour session equips community members of all ages to recognise signs of extremist influence in families, workplaces, schools, and social networks. Facilitated by experienced practitioners, it examines the behaviours, language, and online activities that can indicate vulnerability to radicalisation. The program also focuses on recognising and countering extremist content in digital spaces, giving participants practical tools to engage safely and constructively. Participants leave with evidence-based strategies to respond supportively, along with real Australian examples of how extremist ideologies develop – and how early intervention can strengthen community resilience.
ReConnect Divergent is a court-approved, 12-month mentoring program for young men aged 12 to 30 at risk of violent behaviour, gang involvement, or extremist influences. Delivered in fortnightly sessions, it builds trust, challenges harmful thinking patterns, and promotes respect, accountability, and positive masculinity. The program includes specific guidance on navigating online spaces, resisting extremist propaganda, and building digital literacy to counter harmful narratives. Tailored activities strengthen emotional regulation, critical thinking, and life purpose, empowering participants to make safer choices and avoid future convictions.
This evidence-based mentoring program supports men exiting prison after extremist-related offences. Combining critical thinking, identity rebuilding, and purpose-driven guidance, it also addresses the role of online spaces in sustaining extremist beliefs and provides tools to navigate the digital world safely. Participants build respect, accountability, and the skills to create futures free from violence and hate.
ReRoute Australia works with qualified forensic psychologists to provide comprehensive psychological assessments when required by courts or legal teams. These assessments offer expert insights into each client’s risk factors, mental health needs, and readiness for reintegration, ensuring that intervention plans are tailored, evidence-based, and aligned with legal and ethical standards. Our assessments support informed decision-making for sentencing, parole, and diversion pathways while prioritising community safety and client rehabilitation.
